On October 15, 2024, the Columbus County Shrine Club had some special visitors at their monthly meeting. It was one of our patients, Brayden and his guardian and grandmother, Janice Allen. Brayden is an autistic child and an 8th grade student at Williams Township School. Recently Brayden went into Mrs. Scarlett Strickland’s classroom at the school to show her his braces he had received. Mrs. Strickland is the wife of Noble Derek Strickland; a member of the club and she invited them to the club. Mrs. Allen stated he was walking on his toes. He has since been treated at Shriners Children’s Greenville and fitted with braces for his legs. His care and treatment is on-going. Brayden made a presentation to the club showing his appreciation and is very happy and excited. Thank You to our Columbus County Shrine Club, nobles and ladies for reaching out to this family!
