Pamlico Co. S/C Honors a Great Noble!

On March 26, 2025, Past President Greg Murphy, Noble Zack Paul, and 1st Ceremonial Master Robby Sadler traveled to Belhaven to honor Noble Roscoe L. Joyner.  Noble Joyner, who recently celebrated his 106th birthday, has supported various fundraising events held by the Pamlico Shrine Club and has dedicated more than 65 years in helping Sudan Shriners support Shriners’ Children.  Noble Joyner became a Master Mason in 1949, at the Central Cross Lodge #187, and he became a Sudan Shriner in 1959.  He also served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and liberating the Buchenwald Concentration Camp.  1st Ceremonial Master Robby Sadler presented Noble Joyner with a plaque from the Pamlico Co Shrine Club conveying Honorary Membership to the Club and recognizing his service to Masonry, Shrinedom, and the United States of America.  Noble Joyner continues to be an inspiring example to us all.
