Illustrious Sir Randy Simpson is shown above receiving a check for $2,500.00 from Robert Padgett, a member of the Castle Hayne VFD. The department sold property several years ago and invested the money from the sale. Each year, they select a non-profit charitable organization and donate proceeds from that investment.
